Wereboars are therianthropes who transform into boars or half-boars. As other such creatures, they are hardly hurt by steel but are vulnerable to silver.
Their most common way to aquire this is through a curse, though it is likely they may be born from a wereboar parent. These creatures have full control of their shapeshifting abilities, though it is unknown whether there is a cure.[1]
