Winter's Blade is a steel sword in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It is said to have been forged in Mahakam and tempered in dragon fire. It once belonged to King Erlend Stonefist and has remained in Clan an Craite for centuries.

It is given to Geralt by Crach an Craite as his way of helping for The Battle of Kaer Morhen, but is unfortunately not useful there as Wild Hunt warriors are susceptible to silver swords.

As of Patch 4.0, the damage of this weapon scales with the character's level and it has a third rune slot. In order to receive the level up damage increase, Geralt has to carry the sword, at least in the inventory.

Bugs

• In a few yet undetermined circumstances, sometimes a level up damage increase may be skipped. This is most easily noticed by looking at the sword's required level, which should increase with Geralt's.
