Witch of Lynx Crag lives in a hut atop Lynx Crag and is feared by many of the locals. However, this was not without good reason: she tended to twist any help she gave resulting in people dying and was rather possessive of the men that she seduced, going as far as having one killed so he couldn't return home to his girlfriend after sleeping with the witch.
She could be asked or threatened into helping to lift the curse on Daphne's Wraith. If she was asked, she'll have asked Geralt for a lock of his hair, so Geralt could not see her anymore in the future.
