Wolven Hour is a potion in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt added by patch 1.08. It temporarily lowers all level requirements for equipping items by 2, and was added as a follow-up to changes made in patch 1.07 which scaled up the level requirements for certain items and thus rendered them unusable for many players. The potion was automatically added to the player inventory upon installation of patch 1.08, and is also automatically added to all new games started on 1.08 and any subsequent game versions.
Uniquely among potions in Wild Hunt, Wolven Hour cannot be replenished and may only be consumed once, as it was originally intended to be used in conjunction with locked-out items until the player had sufficiently levelled up to use them without the potion.
