Xymena de Sepulveda was a half-elf and the only daughter of industrialist and pure-blooded elf Briana de Sepulveda (formerly Breainne Diarbhail ap Muigh) and her late human husband, Jacob de Sepulveda. At some point in time, Xymena was abducted by an aguara, much to the despair of her mother. Though she did not ask for their help, the merchants' guild clubbed together and funded a rescue expedition, spearheaded by the merchant Kevenard van Vliet on board of his cutter, the Prophet Lebioda.
Ultimately the rescue mission was botched, and instead of Xymena they managed to abduct a different she-fox altogether, prompting chase by its own aguara mother.
