It is the location of one of the Places of Power dedicated to Quen. A glorious fortress Castle Tuirseach once stood on way to peak watching over Clan Tuirseach's dominion but Nilfgaardians eventually destroyed it.

- This mountain peak was named after the mythical bear which, according to legend, was defeated by Tyr, the heroic founder of Clan Tuirsearch.
